Henderson newest stores

Henderson is growing in someway and not. But seeing a skateboard shop and jewelry store is awesome! Since the skate park on Fairpark is opened, children now have a place to skate other than the sidewalks of South and North Main Streets. I met the owner and very nice, she even knows Jeff former owner of Pulse in Tyler (he sold the business.) Small world as I say! Since then working alot and school I haven't had to chance to ride my board or look for neat affordable jewelry. Ms. English and her mother run the a jewelry store on South Main Street. Due to the repairs of the sidewalk, you can still go in and find a lot. They work at Henderson Quick Copy, such the sweetest people!!!! I love my ring I got from Olivia, HUGE, GAUDY and SPARKLY! Such a nice BIG RING, I wore it with my Alternative Apparel short black dress where I got from KarmaLoop ( Simple and Sexy way I like it!) Of course I got looks and compliments! The secret of dressing up simple is to have jewelry that gonna "Pop" for you. Whenever I have the time to go in I shall snatch up everything in their store! I love the skateboard shop, cute clothing, Reef, Roxy and others in little ol country Henderson, Texas. So if you feel for some good ol southern charm, neat finds at the antique shops at the square don't forget to get a good frappa, buy some Reef flip flops and a beautiful ring.

sleepy but still doing tha damn thing.

I went to sleep around 7pm. I have kids yeah but they can take care of themselves. So no lives lost. They do go to bed around 10:30pm so I don't worry about staying up late. Now its close to 5am, doing laundry, checking emal and such. I miss not working but I have bills. I miss being around the kids but I seriously need adult time. I hate have to do homework but much in progress and graduating in 2011, I can't give up. I want to be single but I do like being married.. don't get me wrong its hard than a mofo, but having a family have it perks. Single life, sleep late, no kids, you can break up with a boyfriend or have those crazy one night stands, going out with the girlfriends for anything. Do I miss it? Yes! Do I miss it where I just want to break up my marriage just because I want to go all GGW?? Hell NAW! I'm still young, 32 and a bit more wiser. And I still have more learning, failure, success and accomplishments to go before I die. So what my hips are bigger than high school? My kids gave them to me. FYI: You're more attractive when had kids and married. Its a fun game, to flirt with others but one thing about it; When you hold up your ring finger and look them in the eye " I'm married" coming out of your mouth AND DO MEAN IT WITH CONVICTION, the look is priceless. Sometimes the ugly ones come up and your like 'eewwww bitch I'm married!!!!" and roll your eyes. hehe, I shake my head with disgust and walk off. But then you have those who are married and want to take it further. Like having an extra-marital affairs and hook ups. Its bad enough to flirt while married but sometimes you have limitation. We are human but it the individual thought process that in check. My husband like its when I get oogled at but I'm not asking for numbers and secret hookups. For some men it turns them on when their girlfriend/wife is a hot number, a turn off is when the girlfriend/wife is making out with the guy that just called her hot. All I know when I have guys looking at me old, fugly, toothless, professional, gay (yes I said it gay men do look at me!) redneck or whatever. I know after 2 kids, a stomach that seems to have a mind of its own, size 8-10 figure that I still got it goin on! Let the Church say AAAAAAAMMENN!

Hairstyles

I'm going through a transition of laying off the chemical (relaxers & perms) to a natural curly style. Its been a month and three weeks, but I've been Super Sweetback treatment & Curly Pudding. That is some wonderful stuff! Also stimulating my scalp with Roots of Nature Oil with shea butter and green tea, the good stuff! But I'll get back to show pics of my transition at the moment its in Celie plaits! LOL. Usually I curl it with a smaller barrel iron to produce tight curls. I'm not ready for the "BC" big chop, because my husband is too terrified of having a wife with close crop to the scalp hair. Yeah he had a bad reaction to Solange Knowles, its funny how men react to a woman with short to non-existent hair. Does that mean a woman's worth is her hair? Suppose to make her feminine? I thought being a woman is nurturing, surviving, protecting family and herself from harm, strength, intuition, intelligence and always strive for the better. Not what's on top of her head, on her chest and between her legs. I think every woman is beautiful to the close cropped beauty to the long locks.

My first time blogging! I'm so sleepy and tired and it only 9am!!! Feel free to trip out or whatever! My name is Keeshia, married, 3 kids, into fashion and other things. Livin in a small town and it sucks but due to getting an education you can get out of this bitch! hahha!!! Not too much of a style going on ehhh.. if you like cowboy boots. I like cowboy boots but not wearing them in unison with everyone else. If you live in small towns, country, or big cities and have a great fashion trend or flare, you can post a pic.. I love seeing different styles from places. Yes I do travel but not at the moment. I shall put up pictures of me pretty soon!
