I know everyone is loving this East Texas spring weather. March 8,2011 marks the 1st anniversary of me being relaxed free. Looking back I've did it, I fought the withdrawals of putting chemicals in my hair, name calling, funny looks, getting upset on how to take care of my hair. The best commitment I've made!!!!! I couldn't be more happier, educated a bit more, loving myself and my beauty and ACTUALLY properly taking care of my OWN hair. Like I said nothing wrong with a person who gets a 2-3 month relaxer, but to me it was a bondage that set me free. For some strange reason, I flat ironed my hair back in February, looked alright but it changed my texture. I don't know if its the CHI Silky product I used or what. I washed my hair 5 times and it haven't went back to it natural curly pattern in my other photos. So I started rolling my hair with foam rollers (ones yo big mama use) twisting every night. And these are the results.
